Knarsetand releases the new hypnotising breakbeat track ‘Dragging me Deeper,’ an arrestingly sexy and dark music video brought to life by film maker Andres Fouchet (Noisia, Dope D.O.D). ‘Dragging me Deeper’ tells a story of how desire and temptation can transform into addiction and obsession. The piece explores how something beautiful can become ugly and the destruction that can ensue. “Taken definitely from personal experience,” laughs frontman/producer Martijn Holtslag.

The video for ‘Dragging me Deeper’ was conceptualised and produced by Martijn, in collaboration with filmmaker Andres Fouchet, model Donnya Zidan and makeup artists Rob and Erik Hillenbrink.

Knarsetand has built a profile in the Dutch scene as a live breakbeat/punk band, shifting woe and misery to raw dance music. This spring/summer the band is on tour again, already confirming over 20 club and festival dates in the Netherlands and beyond. On 7 September the album will be released with a special concert.

Knarsetand has released singles (with clip) ‘Bad Trip’ and ‘Fuckup’ since last summer, and ‘Dragging me Deeper’ is the latest in buildup to the September album. The clip and story ‘Fuckup’ came about the day after frontman/producer Martijn was beat up on a night out on the town, turning the the bruises and bloodshot eyes into an artistic expression of his rage.
